Al-Smou Association for Development and Relief, which was previously the Al-Shawar Association, is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Taiz, Republic of Yemen.
The association was established on 12/27/1997 under the name (Al-Shawar Association for Social Development), according to the Law of NGOs and Institutions and with a permit from the Office of Social Affairs and Labor – Taiz No. (110/C/1997) and remained under this name until 12/1/2019 Where the General Assembly approved changing the name to (Al-Smou Society for Development and Relief).
